What is the Solutions4CCC?

Solutions4CCC (Solutions for Comprehensive Cleft Care) is a biannual global virtual conference that brings together cleft care professionals to share best practices and co-create practical solutions for challenges in low-resource settings. Multidisciplinary teams, organized into “Solutions Groups”, follow a “Sprint Methodology” to present their recommendations during live Roundtable sessions—most recently on March 20, 2025.

How to Use the Guideline Recommendation Series

Each S4CCC Guideline Recommendations report offers clear, actionable guidance informed by both evidence and frontline experience. Developed by interdisciplinary cleft care experts from around the world, these reports are designed to support cleft teams, NGOs, and health system leaders—especially in low-resource settings.

The series serves as a practical tool to inspire discussion, foster collaboration, and guide the implementation of more inclusive and sustainable cleft care strategies to support families affected by cleft lip and palate.

Plenaries

Opening Plenary

Quality Care for Mothers and Newborns: Cleft Within the Big Picture

How can we understand cleft care within the broader context of maternal and newborn health—especially in resource-constrained settings? What happens to newborns with cleft or other conditions after discharge from hospitals or clinics? And how can the cleft care community align its solutions-focused efforts with wider health system priorities?

Listen as Dr. Taylor frames our conference within the realities of health systems in LMICs, calling for deeper integration between cleft care and early life health strategies.
